This painting, like many, started with one idea (simply to use my favorite colors), and then evolved into something quite unexpected. I was surprised to recognize the elements of Earth, Wind, Fire and Water unfold as the painting began to take form and reveal itself to me. You cannot see at this size,but another surprise when finished was to see the word “PEACE” in the relief in the stone border. The amazing power of the subconscious mind!
