	"The Guardian" I had been playing with the idea for some time that I wanted to do a mandala with an African theme, and as fate would have it, my first commission was from a man asking for a mandala for his new home, which would be decorated in African motif! The figure in the center is called a "mbulu ngulu", linking this world to the world of the dead, and serving in the capacity of guardian to those in this world. 24" X 24" Acrylic on canvas SOLD
