"Judgement Day"
This painting followed a trip to Turkey, where I became enamored with and inspired
by Islamic Art. The idea for the interlocking circles came from the inside dome
of Istanbul's Topkapi Palace. The Arabic writing says "Write not with your hand except
that which will delight you to see on the Judgment Day."
